About the Role:

Our Local Authority client are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst to them on an interim basis for the begiinning of a greenfield piece of work. The successful candidate will play a critical role in analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and delivering innovative solutions that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
Conduct detailed analysis of business processes and identify areas for optimization.
Develop functional specifications, process flows, and use cases.
Work closely with IT and development teams to implement technology solutions.
Support project management by tracking progress, risks, and dependencies.
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to define business needs.
Ensure solutions align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to improve decision-making.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Local Authorities highly desirable
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Experience with business process modeling, requirement gathering, and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Visio).
Understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
