Your new companyExcellent opportunity to join a highly reputable property consultancy based on the Essex/Hertfordshire border. You will be joining the successful Asset Management division and will provide pivotal Facilities Management services to a range of clients including FTSE250 businesses, high-net-worth individuals, local authorities and retail organisations. This is a newly created role which has been introduced due to significant growth within the business and progression of existing team members.

Your new roleAs the Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for a multi-site portfolio consisting of commercial and industrial property across the Essex and Hertfordshire border (M11 corridor). You will oversee day-to-day building maintenance, repairs and compliance across the portfolio. This will involve managing contractors and budget management. You will also ensure Health & Safety compliance across the portfolio which will involve conducting property inspections and liaising with tenants to ensure compliance standards are met. As part of the role, you will also be involved in minor works projects (c.£20k) such as cyclical painting and decoration which will include managing contractors and ensuring projects are delivered within time and budget.

What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful for this role you should be IOSH or NEBOSH qualified and have Facilities Management experience working with multi-site commercial portfolios. A driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is required for this role.
