We are currently recruiting for a Packing Operative in Witham, Essex for a short-term temporary role with a leading logistics and distribution company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble kits
- Pick and pack orders from a pick list
- Use a hand-held scanner system
- Walk around the warehouse to collect orders
- Basic computer use for label printing
- Assist with final wrapping for dispatch
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or factory setting is preferred, but not essential (training provided)
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and read from a pick list
- Experience with hand scanners is a bonus
- Own transport is a plus, but not required
- Must be comfortable with some heavy lifting
Job Details:
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30-16:30 (early finish on Fridays!)
- Pay: 11.44-12.21 per hour
