Are you an experienced and qualified Driver looking for a new opportunity to showcase your skills? Our client is seeking a dedicated and reliable Driver to join their team. With a focus on delivering exceptional service to their UK-wide customers, our client is committed to ensuring that their products arrive on time and in perfect condition.

As a Driver with our client, you will have the opportunity to work in a friendly and dynamic environment where teamwork is highly valued. You will be responsible for carrying out daily vehicle checks, maintaining positive customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with relevant Road Transport Legislation. Your excellent navigation and communication skills will be essential as you navigate routes and communicate with customers and suppliers.

To be successful in this role, you must have a full UK Driving licence, including 7.5 tonne vehicles. Additionally, you must hold a Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (Driver CPC qualification for professional lorry drivers). Your flexible and adaptable approach, combined with your ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, will be instrumental in your success as a Driver with our client. Building relationships with suppliers and customers will also be a key aspect of your role.

Our client offers a competitive salary, along with 20 days of holiday per year (increasing each year up to a maximum of 25 days). In addition, you will have the chance to gain valuable experience and training, as well as the possibility of overtime pay for hours worked beyond the standard 37-hour week.

Please note that this role involves overnight stays due to long-distance driving, usually one night per week. It is important that candidates are physically able to assist with the unloading of heavy products to customers. You should also be comfortable working in the factory or keeping the yard and vehicles clean and tidy when driving duties are not required.
