Are you a skilled technical support professional with a deep understanding of gas safety and sensor technologies? We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Support Specialist to join our client’s team. This is a commercial role, ideal for someone who comprehends the complexities of gas composition and its interaction with detection systems. Based in Essex, this hybrid role offers flexibility while allowing you to be at the heart of innovative gas safety solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced escalation support for complex technical issues that go beyond first-line technical assistance.
  • Address and resolve support queries involving hardware, software, firmware, and network connectivity problems.
  • Collaborate closely with the Quality and Engineering teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical product issues.
  • Lead discovery discussions with key stakeholders to understand and address concerns related to our client’s products.
  • Travel to client sites for in-depth problem analysis and troubleshooting.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in technical support for hardware, software, and firmware.
  • Experience in gas detection technology is highly desirable.
  • A technical degree or diploma is preferred.
  • Fluency in an additional European language is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
  • Experience with APIs is a plus.
