CNC Programmer
Job Location: Witham
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Dependant on experience
Hours: 8am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday
They are looking to recruit a CNC Programmer to join their team based in Witham.
The successful candidate will be fully skilled in CNC programming and operation with a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail.
They would consider training applicants with less experience given suitable aptitude for the role.
You must be able to understand drawings with close tolerances and be experienced in machining different types of materials - Predominantly MDF & Plastics.
Main Duties: Programming
You must be skilled and experienced in CNC programming and able to work independently under own initiative.
- CNC Programming: Develop precise 3 axis CNC programs using VCarve software from full CAD drawings to hand sketches.
- Technical Documentation: Create comprehensive supporting documentation from 2D drawings and 3D models.
- Shop floor collaboration: Work closely with their shop floor team to prove and optimise programs.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce scrap.
- Estimating Support: leverage your expertise to assist with cutting time estimates
- Technical Assistance: Provide shop floor support as needed.
