Role Description:

Stand building Project Manager required for a leading provider of custom exhibition stands, known for creating innovative and impactful displays that captivate audiences. Our client prides themselves on delivering exceptional quality and are seeking a skilled Project Manager to manage this process from concept to completion.

As Project Manager, you will see the entire project through from concept to delivery, being the point of contact every step of the way. The ideal Project Manager will have proven experience in a similar environment and will be flexible to meet the needs of the business. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end project lifecycle for exhibition stand builds, from initial client briefing to final installation and dismantling

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, objectives and requirements, ensuring that all expectations are met or exceeded

  • Coordinate with internal teams, including help guide design and CAD teams, production and logistics, to ensure timely delivery of projects within budget

  • Develop and maintain project timelines, schedules and budgets, ensuring all milestones are achieved

  • Source and manage third-party vendors and contractors, negotiating contracts and ensuring quality standards are met

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address any issues and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

  • Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns promptly

  • Oversee the installation and dismantling process on-site, ensuring all elements are delivered and assembled according to plan

  • Prepare post-project reports, including client feedback and lessons learned, to inform future projects

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in the exhibition stand building or events industry is a plus

  • Strong understanding of exhibition design, construction processes and materials

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships

  • Proficient in project management software (e.g. MS Project, Asana) and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing client needs

  • Flexibility to travel and work on-site as required, including weekends and evenings

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to exhibition stand construction is a plus
