An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager - M&E to lead planned maintenance projects for a housing provider. You'll be responsible for managing contracts up to £3 million, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective delivery while meeting regulatory and health & safety standards.

Pay: £300 - £400 a day INSIDE IR35

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee planned maintenance and investment projects, ensuring efficiency and value for money.
  • Oversee the electrical rewires, electric heating replacement and gas/oil boiler replacement programmes.
  • Manage contractors, budgets, and project timelines, taking corrective action where necessary.
  • Conduct property surveys, prepare specifications, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Engage with residents and leaseholders, maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, updating internal systems accordingly.

About You:

  • HNC/HND in Construction or equivalent, with CIOB/RICS membership (or working towards).
  • Proven experience delivering refurbishment projects in occupied residential settings.
  • Strong contract management skills, including knowledge of JCT contracts.
  • Understanding of UK compliance, health & safety regulations, and leasehold property management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
