Project Manager - Full Time on site - Essex.

Are you ready to take the lead on diverse, impactful projects in a fast-paced and collaborative environment? Our client, a leading engineering manufacturer, is looking for a Project Manager to join their growing team.

This newly created role offers autonomy, scope, and huge development potential as you own company-wide projects, enabling the leadership team to focus on driving strategic growth.

The Role:

As a standalone Project Manager, you’ll be at the heart of delivering projects that drive the company’s operational success and future growth. Whether integrating new business opportunities, enhancing facilities, managing IT systems, or optimising production lines, no two days are the same!

You’ll work closely with Directors across the business, managing end-to-end projects in an Agile environment and delivering real, measurable value - a hands-on role in an organisation that values collaboration, innovation, and a positive culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Take the lead on diverse projects such as new customer integration, IT system upgrades, warehouse space optimisation, engineering enhancements, and production line machinery implementation.
  • Oversee projects from conception to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate across all departments, liaising with contractors, engineers, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Manage budgets and timelines effectively, using strong Excel skills to analyse data and drive efficiencies.
  • Influence, communicate, and engage stakeholders across all levels, adding value through proactive project leadership.
  • Work within a medical or pharma manufacturing environment, adhering to ISO standards.
  • Champion a positive, collaborative culture, driving improvements and supporting future growth plans.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience delivering business-wide projects in engineering, pharma or medical sectors.
  • Background in a manufacturing environment—knowledge of injection moulding is a huge plus!
  • Strong Excel skills with the ability to manage and optimise budgets.
  • Proven ability to manage diverse projects autonomously while communicating effectively with stakeholders.
  • A positive attitude, empathetic nature, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills—you’ll be the go-to person driving projects across the business.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management is ideal, with a mindset for continuous improvement.
