Marks Consulting Partners are currently looking for a Tenancy Management Officer to work with one of our housing association clients in Essex.
What the job will be doing
- To be accountable for the day-to-day management of approximately 500 properties.
- To be responsible for investigating and resolving reports of breaches of the conditions of tenancy and to take appropriate action in line with the policies and procedures.
- To prepare documentation for legal/enforcement action
- To be responsible for processing applications and requests for changes to tenancies.
- To carry out regular property/estate management/grounds maintenance inspections of your patch to ensure communal repairs and health and safety issues are reported and resolved.
- Assist by providing relevant background information to the Tenancy and Support Services Manager to ensure all complaints are handled effectively and efficiently and within the timescale laid down in the complaint’s procedure.
What you will need
- Working knowledge of Housing Law/Welfare Benefits
- Up to date knowledge of best practice within a tenancy management service.
- Experience of using Housing IT systems
- Experience of dealing with difficult and aggressive customers.
- Ability to communicate orally, in writing and electronically at all levels.
- Has full driving licence, Daily Use of a car and Business User Insurance
