A client of ours in the Witham area are recruiting a Credit Controller to join their team. This is a part-time permanent position working Monday - Friday 9.30am - 2.30pm and paying up to 19,500 per annum (27,000 FTE) depending on experience.
Reporting to the Finance Director, key duties include but are not limited to:
- Debt collection via phone, email and letter.
- Responsibility of new account opening procedure.
- Completing relevant journals in ERP system.
- Create and distribute regular Aged Debt Reports.
- Complete monthly statements for all customers.
- Conducting regular credit checks on all customers.
- Resolving problems in relation to invoicing and payments.
- Reconciling month-end accounts ensuring all cash receipts are allocated correctly and timely.
- Report to management on outstanding issues, whilst highlighting potential debtor problems.
- Daily banking including taking credit card payments.
- Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly reporting to Management.
- Any other duties as required.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Credit Controller position:
- Previous credit control or accountancy experience
- Experience in chasing/managing outstanding commercial payments
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient within the Microsoft packages, specifically Excel.
- Highly organised.
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
