A lovely company based in South Woodham Ferrers need a new Credit Controller due to retirement. This would make a lovely position for someone who wants to take ownership of the full function and enjoys a varied and busy role that has a lot of administration. This is office based but they possibly could consider one day a week from home.Daily duties
- Managing the sales ledger
- Resolving queries and liaising with customers
- Working closely with the sales and customer service team to recover outstanding invoices
- Setting credit limits, reviewing credit limits.
- Managing customer direct debits
- Posting receipts and reconciliations
- Ensuring compliant to credit insurance requirements
- Reporting on aged debt
- Maintaining accurate records
Skills required
- An experienced Credit Controller who is happy in a sole charge role
- Someone who can commit to working in an office
- Good systems experience and Excel
