Location: Churchfields, Witham, Essex
Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term (with the potential to become permanent)
Salary: £25,087 per annum + enhancements & excellent benefits
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (occasional weekends required)

Churchfields is home to approximately 24 individuals with varying levels of learning and physical disabilities. This vibrant service includes a mix of individual flats, shared flats, and bungalows, all supported by a dedicated team. As an Assistant Service Manager, youll work closely with our two Service Managers to lead, motivate, and empower support workers to provide exceptional care.

What Will You Do? -Assistant Service Manager Full-Time, Fixed-Term (Assisted Living) -Witham, Essex
Youll be at the heart of our service, supporting Service Managers in daily operations, ensuring compliance with best practices, and driving service improvement. Through hands-on leadership, youll model best practices, guide support workers, and ensure the highest standards of care delivery.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and motivating teams, creating a positive and inclusive culture.
- Acting as a role model for best practices during hands-on support.
- Supporting staff development, fostering skills and confidence in the team.
- Managing delegated tasks, balancing priorities, and maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and service improvement goals.
