Our client is a leading manufacturer of life sciences equipment, with an international client base. This is a newly created position to support with the continued growth and investment in their product range.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze product needs for electrical/electronic systems in ultra-low temperature freezers.
- Design, release, and maintain systems/components, ensuring compliance with regulations and safety standards.
- Develop testing procedures and write technical reports and manufacturing instructions.
- Investigate and resolve failure modes, focusing on quality and cost.
- Support operations with installation sustainment and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Education: BSc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- Experience: Extensive experience in product development.
- Skills: System, PCB, and cable harness design; testing and troubleshooting; knowledge of compliance and certification (UL, EMC); strategic planning and hands-on approach; familiarity with DFM, FMEA, ISO 9001.
- Personal Attributes: R&D capability, analytical and problem-solving skills, project focus, team orientation, excellent communication, understanding of end user requirements, cross-functional teamwork, ability to meet deadlines.
