Hardware Design Manager - Analogue & Digital
Our client is actively seeking a Hardware Design Manager. This is a brand new role within the business and a superb opportunity to put your own stamp on the day to day running of an engineering team. This includes the allocation of work, management of resources, coordinating with other Department Managers, and reporting to stakeholders. In addition, the Hardware Design Manager is responsible for ensuring the Hardware Department can support and deliver on the wider R&D goals, contributing towards the success of our clients goals and longevity.
The key responsibilities for this Hardware Design Manager role based in Clacton on Sea, Essex are:
- Day-to-day and strategic planning and management of the hardware design team and their tasks and resources.
- Hands on electronic design for both analogue and digital circuitry.
- Reviewing, developing, implementing, and managing systems, processes, and procedures within the department.
- Ensuring all designs are effectively and efficiently designed and reviewed, working within the multi-disciplinary R&D teams.
The successful applicant for this Hardware Design Manager role based in Clacton on Sea, Essex are:
- Management experience in a team-oriented workplace.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a department.
- Bachelor's, or equivalent industry experience, in Electronic Engineering or equivalent subject.
- Electronic Engineering and Design Experience, including circuit design, schematic capture, and PCB layout.
