Are you an experienced Electrical Technician seeking a dynamic role within a multi-skilled team? This exciting opportunity offers the chance to provide efficient site maintenance services while upholding high standards of safety and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose breakdowns, repair equipment, and implement preventative measures.
  • Perform planned maintenance, inspections, and testing to the required standards.
  • Maintain accurate records on the Computerised Maintenance Management System (PEMAC).
  • Install new electrical equipment in line with current legislation and specifications.
  • Develop and review electrical work instructions, risk assessments, and technical drawings.
  • Modify plant and equipment in accordance with company requirements.
  • Report hazards and equipment defects promptly.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and on time.

Key Skills, Experience & Knowledge:

  • Proven experience in production maintenance environments, ideally on hazardous area/COMAH sites.
  • COMPEX qualification (or willingness to achieve).
  • Recognised apprenticeship qualification.
  • IOSH or equivalent health and safety qualification (or willingness to achieve).
  • City & Guilds Electrical Qualification.
  • Knowledge of IEE regulations (17th/18th edition).
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of electrical legislation and electricity at work regulations.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge (desirable).
  • Familiarity with PLC systems (desirable).
