We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to the Group Chief Executive Officer to join a leading educational organisation in Essex. This dynamic role offers the opportunity to provide essential administrative support at the highest level, ensuring the smooth running of the GCEO's office while fostering a collaborative and professional environment. This is a full time permanent position paying up to £38,000.

As the PA to the Group CEO, you will be at the heart of the organisation, acting as the key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. You will manage the CEO's calendar, coordinate travel, prepare documents, and support the leadership team in delivering key organisational objectives. Your role will require a strong blend of administrative expertise, communication skills, and leadership to help drive the organisation forward.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive personal assistant services to the GCEO, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and preparation of agendas and reports.

  • Communication: Be the first point of contact for the GCEO, handling all internal and external communications with discretion and professionalism.

  • Event and Meeting Management: Organise key internal and external events, manage logistics, and ensure meetings run smoothly with accurate minutes and follow-up actions.

  • Team and Budget Management: Oversee the Senior Leadership Support Service, implement effective budget controls, and ensure the smooth execution of all policies and procedures.

  • Confidentiality and Governance: Handle sensitive information with confidentiality, maintain accurate records, and support governance processes.

  • Leadership Support: Lead on proactive support with strategic reports, and assist in key decision-making processes for the leadership team.

About You:

We are looking for a self-motivated, highly organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-level environment. You will be a strong communicator with excellent attention to detail and a high degree of professionalism. You should have prior experience working as a Personal Assistant or in a similar role for senior management or a CEO.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant supporting senior leaders.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • High-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

The Personal Assistant must have:

  • Experience working in an educational setting.

  • Management degree or relevant qualifications.

  • Previous experience in budget management and policy development.
