Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and maintaining a personal pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Providing clients with expert advice on new business quotations, coverage options, and guiding them through to renewals.
  • Working closely with clients to expand and optimize their coverage, ensuring they have the appropriate protection.
  • Collaborating with the broking and support teams to ensure all documentation is accurate and complete.
  • Actively negotiating with underwriters to secure the best possible terms for clients.
  • Managing all cases in a compliant, timely manner.
  • Meeting and maintaining income and retention targets.
  • Collaborating with the management team to achieve business objectives and supporting the development of colleagues.
  • Assisting with renewals and policy adjustments as needed.

Required Experience & Skills:

  • A solid background in the commercial insurance market, with a desire for a long-term role in a company that offers support and opportunities for growth.
  • Strong skills in communication (verbal, written, video), negotiation, influencing, sales, stakeholder management, delegation, and IT.
  • A client-focused mindset, confident in engaging with stakeholders at all levels, particularly at the board level.
  • A full, valid driving licence is required.
