We are seeking a Finance Manager to oversee our clients financial operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with legal standards. This role involves managing internal financial systems, budgeting, forecasting, and leading continuous improvement in our accounting practices.
Day-to-day of the role:- Manage internal financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems.
- Prepare and manage budgets, and conduct forecasting reports.
- Analyse financial reports and present findings to the board.
- Supervise financial reporting and budget processes.
- Review company financial reports and seek ways to reduce costs.
- Analyse market trends to maximize profits and identify expansion opportunities.
- Identify risks, propose solutions, and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Research and report on factors influencing business performance.
- Prepare statutory accounts up to Trial Balance Level and manage payroll, VAT, and HMRC returns.
- Manage weekly cash flow forecasts, purchase, and sales ledgers.
- Handle accounts receivable and payable ledgers.
- Prepare monthly accruals, prepayments, and accounting entries.
- Oversee audit processes and develop external relationships with auditors, solicitors, bankers, and statutory organisations.
- Drive continuous improvement of accounting practices and ensure compliance with legal standards.
- Strong leadership skills to effectively motivate and manage teams.
- Excellent communication skills for conveying complex financial information.
- Proficient problem-solving skills to identify and address financial issues.
- High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness in financial reports.

- AAT Level 4 or equivalent qualification.
