Finance Graduate Role - Essex - up to £23,000 p.a.

Are you a Finance & Accountancy or Maths graduate, who has gained some experience working within a finance team? Or are you studying/recently qualified AAT?

Are you currently in a finance role and seeking to use those skills in a more consultative and commercial manner? Would you like to be involved more strategically in a business and assist directors with strategy and planning?

If you answered yes to any of the above, this could be the ideal role for you!

This role is to work as a key management member within a niche business in Essex.

You will have excellent communication skills and ideally have 2-3 years’ experience working within Finance, Audit or Purchasing and want to move into a role where you can drive a part of a business on a commercial footing. The role will also suit a Graduate/AAT qualified individual who is looking for "that" opportunity to develop and progress.

Key duties:

· Liaising effectively with key stakeholders and senior personnel at the existing client portfolio.

· Manage an existing client portfolio and using commercial acumen to develop new opportunities

· Efficiently manage review and reconcile large data sets using Excel and Access

· Work with Directors to achieve annual plan audit plan timescales and strategic planning

· Communicating findings to non-finance contacts at Clients and assisting Directors with negotiations

· Ability to effectively run and present at meetings

About you:

· Excellent communication skills and a commercial approach

· Strong Finance and IT systems knowledge

· Excellent analytical skills

· Degree/AAT qualified or 2-3 years’ experience within finance, accounting or purchasing
