Are you available for a six-month interim contract covering a critical time of year?

My client is a Housing Association in Essex with a development portfolio delivering hundreds of homes per year. This role offers the opportunity to support the delivery of the portfolio across various tenures, including stock partnerships, acquisitions, disposals, and shared ownership sales. The successful candidate will provide strategic financial management, ensuring accurate forecasting, variance analysis, and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with Director-level stakeholders to provide financial insight and challenge on development activity.
  • Preparing monthly commentary and presentations to keep senior leadership informed on financial performance.
  • Conducting investment appraisals to assess the viability of new schemes.
  • Managing financial forecasting, variance analysis, and key performance reporting.
  • Overseeing regulatory returns to ensure compliance with sector requirements.

  • Strong analytical and reporting abilities, particularly in forecasting and investment appraisal.
  • Ideally working in the office twice per week, though flexibility may be considered for the right candidate.
