We are currently seeking 1 x Warehouse Forklift Driver from a logistics/warehouse background, to join the groupage team at our Crittall Road, Witham site.


  • The role will entail the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of all customers goods to ensure they are received and dispatched appropriately and productivity to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Unloading and loading cargo to and from warehouse and vehicles by using a forklift truck, pallet truck or by hand.
  • Loading international groupage trailers in accordance with loading plans Pick and pack orders to ensure they are delivered on time and in full.
  • Wrap and unwrap of goods.
  • Stock management
  • Check loads for damaged or missing items upon receipt
  • Keep careful records of everything that comes in and goes out of the warehouse
  • Daily housekeeping within the Warehouse and site.
  • Prioritise assigned daily work.
  • Perform all assigned duties effectively, safety and efficiently.

Hours of Work

Monday - Friday

Rotating Shifts Preferred -

Week 1:Monday to Friday 0600-1530

Week 2:Monday 1000-2000 Tuesday: 1200 - 2200 Wednesday: 1200 - 2000 Thursday: 1130 - 2000 Friday: 1200 - 2300

42.5 hours per week


Requirements
  • Applicants must have worked in alogistics/warehouseenvironment before and have previous loading/unloading vehicles using a counterbalance forklift
  • Counterbalance forklift truck driving certificate essential
  • Previous experience in loading international groupage trailers would be an advantage
  • Order pick and stock count
  • Basic numeracy, literacy and computer skills
  • Ability to function well as part of a team
  • Diligent attention to detail and attention to safety
  • Ability to work under pressure

Compensation

  • Days - 06:00 - 18:00 -£12.43
  • Noons - 18:00 - 22:00 - £14.30
  • Nights - 22:00 - 06:00 - £14.92
