We are working alongside a secondary school based in Essex who are seeking an enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and passionate Humanities Teacher to join their dynamic and supportive team for the period from December 2024 through to July 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to teach students across a range of Humanities subjects, including History, Geography, and Social Sciences. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality lessons, inspiring students, and contributing to the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons across the Humanities curriculum, in line with school policies and guidelines.
  • Create a stimulating learning environment that supports student engagement and development.
  • Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback and setting clear, achievable goals for improvement.
  • Support students in their academic and personal growth, providing guidance and mentoring where necessary.
  • Maintain effective communication with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a positive and inclusive school community.

Requirements:

  • Must be a qualified teacher.
  • Experience teaching Humanities at secondary school level (preferred).
