OverviewWe are seeking an experienced, fully qualified CAP trained engineer to join our expanding team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a wide range of powered access machinery in a hybrid role largely based at the yard but also attending breakdowns on the road.
Responsibilities- Conducting maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of powered access machinery- Diagnosing faults and carrying out necessary repairs- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health and safety regulations- Providing excellent customer service and representing the company in a professional manner
Qualifications- Fully qualified CAP trained engineer with experience on a wide range of powered access machinery- Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills- Excellent communication and customer service skills- Ability to work independently and as part of a team- Full UK driving license
Day-to-day- Working 45 hours Monday to Friday, with the option of overtime paid at time and a quarter- On a 1 in 4 call out rota, with £220 standby and paid door to door- Conducting maintenance largely at the yard, with occasional breakdown callouts on the road- Utilising company-provided van with a fuel card and personal use, phone, and laptop
