Junior Graphic Designer

Location: Essex - office basedSalary: Up to £25,000 per annum

Are you a graduate or entry level Graphic Designer with a passion for design, fashion, and digital media? We're on the lookout for a talented Junior Graphic Designer to join our client in the retail space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creative Design: Produce engaging visuals for social media, email campaigns, website banners, and online ads. Design marketing materials such as look books, packaging, and promotional content for both online and in-store use. Develop eye-catching visuals for seasonal campaigns, product launches, and special events. Create web assets for desktop, mobile, and app platforms.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent brand identity. Work closely with the marketing team to align designs with strategic goals and target audience preferences.
  • Innovation: Stay updated with the latest design trends and bring new, innovative ideas to the table. Experiment with new tools, techniques, and formats to enhance the brand's creative output.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the Paid Media and Content teams to create optimised visuals for META, TikTok, and Google Ads campaigns. Collaborate with the eCommerce team to ensure website visuals are engaging and effective. Adapt designs based on performance data, feedback, and testing results.

Skills & Experience:

  • A degree in Graphic Design (or equivalent).
  • Ideally some experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in the fashion or retail sector.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma.
  • Strong illustrative and layout design skills.
  • Experience in designing email campaigns, social media ads, and digital banners is preferred.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design work across digital and print mediums.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a keen eye for typography, colour, and layout.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of eCommerce and social media platforms, including their design requirements.
  • Experience in video editing and motion graphics is a plus but not essential.
  • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify is preferred.
  • Knowledge of UX/UI design principles is a plus.
