Remedy Education is working with a leading Independent Secondary Alternative Provider and Day Special School. The school is seeking a Head of Curriculum and SENDCo to join the Senior Leadership Team and drive both curriculum design and SEN provision across the school.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the school's Curriculum and SEND policies.
  • Oversee EHCP applications, reviews, and Individual Learning Plans.
  • Work with staff to ensure effective differentiation and support for SEND students.
  • Line-manage teaching and SEN support staff.
  • Support staff development through CPD and emotional self-regulation strategies.
About You
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and the National Award in SEND Coordination (or willingness to complete).
  • Proven experience in curriculum development and SEND leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory SEND requirements.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
