1st Line IT Support Engineer - Contract Vacancy

Rate: £150 - £160 p/dWorking Location: Witham, Essex - OnsiteContract Length: 5 weeks (potential for extension)

My client has a requirement for a 1st Line Helpdesk Engineer on a 5 Week contract. The client is a Managed Service Provider who helps Essex businesses and charities to achieve success by keeping systems operational, data secure and teams empowered with the right tools for the job.

They require a 1st/2nd Line Helpdesk Engineer to provide support and 'hit the ground running' during a busy period leading up to Christmas.

Responsibilities

  • MSP Experience (essential) .
  • Provide 1st line support for hardware and software issues across multiple endpoints.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues escalated from 1st line support.
  • External support to clients.
  • Manage and resolve complex technical incidents and service requests efficiently.
  • Ensure all issues are logged, prioritized, and resolved working with a ticketing system, phone calls and emails.

Technical

  • Manage Microsoft 365 environments (user management, Exchange, SharePoint, InTune, Teams)
  • O365 products
  • ConnectWise
  • ConnectWise command
  • Backup servers
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and technologies.
