Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals.
- Conduct site assessments and prepare reports on planning policy and development potential.
- Support senior planners in planning strategy development and project management.
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders to facilitate the planning process.
- Contribute to the preparation of planning reports, including site analysis and policy reviews.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of planning legislation, regulations, and best practices.
Key Requirements:
- A degree in Town Planning or a related field (RTPI accredited preferred).
- Ideally, some experience in a planning role (though graduates with relevant experience will be considered).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- A proactive and enthusiastic approach to problem-solving and planning.
