The Role:
As a Commercial Property Paralegal, you will primarily provide essential paralegal-level assistance to the fee earners within the department. You will be involved in various tasks, supporting the team through all stages of commercial property transactions, including acquisitions, disposals, and other related work.
In addition to your core paralegal duties, the role will also require you to undertake administration-related tasks, contributing to the smooth operation of the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide paralegal-level assistance in commercial property acquisitions and disposals.
- Support fee earners with document management, client correspondence, and file maintenance.
- Draft and review legal documents, including leases, licenses, and contracts.
- Prepare and manage electronic legal forms and other software applications.
- Assist with administrative tasks as required, ensuring the team runs efficiently.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience working within a commercial property team or experience in development and plot sales within the residential property sector.
- Strong knowledge of commercial property transactions, with a good understanding of the relevant legal procedures and documentation.
- Excellent client care and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and under pressure.
- Proficient in the use of legal software and electronic legal forms.
- A proactive and adaptable approach, with a strong team ethic and a willingness to take on new challenges.
