We are recruiting for a Procurement Manager based in Witham with a starting salary of £35,000. This is a fully office based position, working Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5pm and Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm, with an hour for lunch. Duties will include:
- Monitor and contribute to reducing wastage
- Accurately order required products using sales and forecasting
- Establish and maintain a relationship with suppliers
- Review and approve invoice queries
- Assist with supplier credit claims
- Liaise with Buyers and additional teams to advise of potential problems as they arise
- Review and contribute to cost savings
- Produce supplier requirement forecasts
- Manage the daily production schedule based on orders, materials and capacity
- Maintain accurate product availability information
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to advise of plans and forecasts
- Provide relevant data and information for meetings
- Booking shipments
Training will be provided for inhouse systems, however to be successful you must bring experience of analysing data and forecasting. You must have at least 3 years of experience within a relevant position to include supply chain, stock management and demand planning.
