Factory Manager

ARM have an exciting opportunity for a Factory Manager to join a UK Based manufacturer on a permanent basis.

As Factory Manager you will be responsible for managing the team of factory workers and ensuring that the factory operations run smoothly with efficient flow of information between organisation departments.

The Role:

  • Ensure that products are processed in line with the production schedule to deliver orders on time in full
  • Monitor production output and amend process to achieve output targets.
  • Allocate resources to maintain and improve production standards
  • Work proactively to ensure production priorities are on schedule and liaise with the Production Manager to address any operational changes.
  • Maintain effective communication between all departments ensuring issues or concerns around client products and requirements are raised in good time.
  • Monitor and manage attainment of product quality standards
  • Work with the quality department to develop and maintain robust quality standards

Requirements:

  • People management skills, including the ability to lead and motivate others, delegate work and explain ideas
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work on a tactical and strategic level
  • Must have good attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish credibility and build influential working relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Must be pro-active and able to multi-task within a busy working environment
