What You Will Do:

  • Support the design and development of specific powertrain components, ensuring they meet performance, durability, and cost requirements.
  • Identify and troubleshoot issues in powertrain integration or component performance.
  • Work closely with the Design Engineering Team and the Packaging Team to specify and design powertrain sub systems and components.
  • Manage tasks with design and project engineering support within the powertrain team.
  • Liaise with suppliers to supply parts to internally developed specifications and designs.
  • Support the testing and validation activities, ensuring components function reliably under different conditions.

What You Will Bring:

  • An Engineering degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
  • Experience in the design and development of one or more major powertrain components or systems (Exhaust, Cooling, Fuel, Driveline, Air Intake, Axels, etc.) 
  • Strong understanding of DVPs, FMEAs, and Test and Validation procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage suppliers.
  • A positive attitude towards learning, improvement, and teamwork.
