A market leading, Manufacturing & Design company in Witham are recruiting a Junior Production Scheduler to join their team ASAP. This is a temporary - permanent position working in the office Monday to Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm, Paying 11.44 - 12.50 per hour depending on experience.
Your key duties in this Junior Production Scheduler role will include but are not limited to:
- Process and manage client information and the programming activities.
- Regularly update production schedules for all projects.
- Ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of requested supplies by effectively managing and coordinating purchase orders .
- Report and manage service spares and damage replacements.
- Work closely with 15 departments ensuring seamless planning coordination to achieve timely shipping targets.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels coordinating with assembly and production departments.
- Compile and record necessary data used to inform Key Performance Indicator reporting.
- Input in regular meetings with clients both face-to-face and via video conferencing platforms.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this role:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel experience: Conditional formatting, Vlookup, pivot tables, hyperlinks etc.
- Possess strong communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills.
- Confidence to develop and nurture key customer and workforce relationships.
- Be a strong problem-solver.
- Possess a flexible approach able to adapt to changing requirements at short notice.
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Have a positive and proactive attitude, demonstrating a willingness to take on challenges, find solutions and cooperate with the ideas and solutions of others.
