My client is a very well established, successful, fast growing, multi-award winning, UK Mortgage and Protection Advice Network. The company's main aim is to provide world class support and guidance to its Appointed Representative (AR) firms and independent Mortgage Advisors alike, utilising their cutting-edge systems and regulatory expertise.

The company are currently keen to recruit a Mortgage Compliance Manager (overseeing Residential and BTL Mortgage cases) to join their established team.

Within the role you will be responsible for managing a team of field based, regional compliance professionals to ensure all AR Firms continue to meet the required competency and business operating standards.

You will also be accountable for all first line supervisory activity of the Network.

This includes responsibility for providing direct support to the recruitment and induction processes in delivery, along with cooperation with any audit/investigation activities.

This is a hybrid role with successful candidate being based at the firms Essex office for 3 day’s per week, whilst you will have the option to work from home for 2 day’s per week.

This is a full-time position, working 35 hours per week on a Monday to Friday basis.

Key responsibilities within the role will include:

  • Delivering agreed performance targets.
  • Supporting team members’ development and wellbeing.
  • Providing support to the recruitment team, induction delivery, audit investigations and targeted support for AR firms as required.
  • Maximise retention of AR network members.
  • Deputising for the oversight of the Network.
  • Providing management information suitably.
  • Providing relationship management support.
  • Compliance operations team management.

Key candidate attributes:

  • Current/previous mortgage (Residential and BTL) compliance team management experience, gained specifically within the environment of a Mortgage Network.
  • A strong people manager.
  • A keen eye for detail.
  • An assertive communicator.
  • Well organised.
  • A probing, analytical, investigative mindset.
  • Ambitious with a desire to have a long successful career within a professional and growing business.
  • A candidate that is pleased and available to work within a hybrid part Essex based office/part home based working capacity.

The successful candidate will receive a basic salary of circa £50,000, a company car, plus a potential annual company bonus of up to approximately £5,000.
