With operations across multiple regions, the company is dedicated to delivering high-quality, innovative products to consumers worldwide. This role presents an opportunity to drive strategic initiatives, improve operational efficiency, and shape the future direction of the organisation. Due to significant growth they are looking to recruit a Strategy Director reporting directly into the Group MD/CEO. They have global sites across the Far East & the US with the UK headquarters being based in Essex.

Strategy Director/Chief of Staff
The Strategy Director/Chief of Staff will act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and leadership team, driving strategic planning, execution, and transformation initiatives across the global business. The role requires a high-performing individual with a blend of strategic insight, operational expertise, and leadership skills to support decision-making and ensure alignment across functions.

Strategic Planning & Execution: Lead the development, communication, and execution of corporate strategies, ensuring alignment with long-term business goals.

Business Performance & Analysis: Conduct market, competitor, and internal performance analysis to inform strategic decision-making. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve profitability and growth.

Cross-functional Leadership: Partner with key stakeholders across operations, finance, sales, marketing, and supply chain to drive alignment and execution of strategic priorities.

Transformation & Change Management: Lead business transformation initiatives, ensuring successful implementation of process improvements, cost efficiency's, and organisational change.

M&A & Strategic Partnerships: Support M&A activities, including due diligence, integration planning, and execution. Identify and evaluate strategic partnerships and joint ventures.

Corporate Governance & Communication: Act as a liaison between the CEO, executive leadership team, and wider organisation to ensure clarity in strategic direction and effective communication.

Project Management: Oversee high-impact projects, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.

Board & Executive Support: Prepare reports, presentations, and briefings for senior leadership, investors, and board meetings.
Profile

Proven experience in a senior strategic role within a global manufacturing or consumer durables business.

Strong background in strategy development, business analysis, and operational execution.

Strong financial and commercial acumen with an ability to interpret data and translate insights into business decisions.

Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of an organisation.

Experience in M&A, corporate development, or strategic partnerships is highly desirable.

Highly analytical, structured thinker with strong problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with a capacity to engage and align diverse teams.
