Quality Inspector

For over 60 years, Reed’s engineering and manufacturing specialists have been recruiting professionals like you for permanent, temporary and contract positions.We are currently working with a reputable organisation with a global presence, in Mid Essex who are looking to hire a Quality Inspector.

The successful appointee will be working alongside a team of highly experienced engineers, scientists and technicians and will have exposure to some of the most advanced technologies in the world. 

Responsibilities:

• Operation of CMM / OGP machine to carry out inspections
• Use of manual inspection equipment eg calipers, verniers, micrometers etc.
• Creating inspection plans
• Communicate non-conformances
• Record inspection results 

Skills & Experience required:

• Understand and interpret technical drawings
• Practical experience in an Engineering or Manufacturing environment
• Previous experience of using inspection equipment
• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent
