Are you an experienced EC&I Technician looking to work in a state-of-the-art facility that values innovation, safety, and sustainability? A leading waste management and energy recovery site is seeking a skilled professional to join their maintenance team.
About the Role:
As an EC&I Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimising electrical, control, and instrumentation systems within a highly automated energy recovery facility. This advanced site processes non-recyclable waste, converting it into electricity for the national grid.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance on EC&I systems
- Supporting planned and unplanned shutdown activities
- Ensuring mengineering activities comply with safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Collaborating with internal teams and external service providers
- Identifying and contributing to operational improvement projects

Who We're Looking For:
- NVQ Level 3 (preferred), HNC/HND, or equivalent experience in electrical, control & instrumentation maintenance
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a complex operational environment (e.g., Power Generation, Industrial Process, Oil & Gas)
- Knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and PLCs
- Familiarity with Low, Medium, and High Voltage switching and control equipment
- Commitment to health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Ability to work as part of a 24/7 operational team, including participation in an on-call rota
