Are you a HLTA / Higher Level Teaching Assistant able to deliver pre-planned lessons to Primary aged pupils?

Our client Primary school, located in the Clacton On Sea area of Essex are a popular and well respected school that take great care in making sure that each pupil achieves to the best of their ability.

They are urgently seeking a HLTA to join them each Monday to Friday, from 8:30 - 3:30 on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities: As our HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting their dedicated teaching staff across all key stages. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering pre-planned, engaging lessons.
  • Leading small group activities and providing one-on-one support to students.
  • Covering classes during teacher absence, ensuring a smooth continuation of learning.
  • Helping to create a positive and stimulating classroom environment.

Requirements: We are looking for a HLTA that is deeply committed to the welfare and development of children. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience working with students across various age groups and abilities.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with our team.
  • A positive and adaptable approach to challenges in the classroom.
