About the Role:
As a Palletforce Transport Operator, you will play a crucial role in planning and allocating resources within the Pallet Network and our local transport fleet. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where you can make a real impact!
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and allocate all Pallet Network consignments and customer collections to ensure optimal vehicle utilisation and profitability.
- Prepare vehicle and load manifests, alongside customer paperwork, for our dedicated drivers.
- Provide outstanding driver reception services, welcoming drivers and managing their vehicle allocations and manifests.
- Liaise with night trunk drivers to coordinate their arrivals and departures.
- Act as the main point of contact for drivers and other depots, addressing queries and complaints efficiently.
- Support the management of fleet headcount and utilisation, working closely with the Transport Manager.
- Be proactive in solving daily challenges and ready to respond to emergencies as needed.

Requirements:
Desirable: Experience in Pallet Network route planning, with at least 2 years of proven success in the field.
Knowledge of vehicle weights, legal limits, and relevant regulations is a must.
