About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with students, providing vital support to help them achieve their academic and personal goals. You will assist with classroom activities, provide one-to-one support for students with specific learning needs, and work closely with teachers to ensure that all students are included and can participate fully in lessons. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a passion for education and a commitment to supporting young people.


Key Responsibilities:
Support students with a variety of learning needs in the classroom
Work alongside teachers to deliver tailored interventions and strategies for students requiring additional support
Provide one-to-one support for students with special educational needs (SEN) where necessary
Help to create an inclusive learning environment where all students can thrive
Assist with the planning and preparation of lessons and resources
Encourage student engagement, confidence, and independence


About You:
A caring, patient, and empathetic nature
Experience of working with young people, ideally in a learning support or educational setting
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students
A commitment to supporting the academic and personal development of students
A desire to contribute to an inclusive and positive learning environment
Previous experience working with students with SEN is desirable but not essential
