We are looking for a new Advocate to work with a leading advocacy charity organisation supporting those in need. Our client are open to consider applicants who have transferable skills, a willingness to learn and a desire to help those in need of support, along with those who already have experience of supporting vulnerable people in a community based setting.

Are you passionate about empowering individuals, ensuring their rights and wishes are respected in accordance with key legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advocacy and empower individuals to make informed decisions about their lives.
  • Support people with complex needs to navigate legal proceedings and services.
  • Work with professionals to promote client wishes and ensure strong outcomes.
  • Network, promote services, and raise awareness in local communities.
  • Champion self-advocacy and maintain accurate records in line with legal requirements.

What We're Looking For:

  • A Level 2 Award in Independent Advocacy (or willingness to complete within 6 months).
  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals and supporting their rights.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and personal development.
