As a Coordinator (Direct Access Services), you’ll play a crucial role in helping rough sleepers take their first steps towards a brighter future. You’ll work alongside the frontline team to provide immediate accommodation and support, ensuring individuals receive the care and guidance they need.

About the Job:

  • Welcoming and Supporting Rough Sleepers - Ensuring they receive a seamless, compassionate service from the moment they arrive.
  • Leading & Inspiring a Team - Managing frontline staff, volunteers, and peer mentors to deliver high-quality support.
  • Driving Positive Outcomes - Coordinating with multiple agencies to help clients access the services they need, from mental health support to permanent housing solutions.
  • Ensuring Best Practice - Advocating for clients, maintaining accurate case records, and implementing innovative approaches to support and rehabilitation.
  • Building Strong Partnerships - Working closely with local authorities, outreach teams, and community organisations to create a joined-up approach to homelessness support.

Skills:

  • Experience in homelessness services, social care, or support work.
  • Strong leadership who can inspire and support a diverse team.
  • Great communication and organisational skills, with a proactive attitude.
