PHP Developer

This role is office based with no remote availability.

Location:Our current office is in Rivenhall, Essex, but we will soon be relocating to Mt. Bures, Essex. Candidates should be prepared for the commute to our new location.

Role Overview:?
As a back-end developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our eCommerce platforms and tailored web applications for our clients. Youll collaborate closely with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to ensure that our products are high-performing, secure, and scalable. This role is ideal for someone with a solid PHP background who is eager to contribute to a variety of exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain PHP-based eCommerce and bespoke web applications.
• Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
• Optimise applications for speed, scalability, and security.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
• Contribute to the entire development lifecycle, from concept to deployment.
• Ensure high code quality and adherence to best practices.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience in PHP development.
• Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
• Commitment to working in an office-based setting.
