Water is one of the fundamental chemicals on earth. Used in a variety of industrial, chemical and agricultural processes, as well as its domestic uses, the treatment and management of this most valuable of resource is a multi-billion pound industry.

Our client, a world leader in laboratory testing solutions, provide expert and unparalleled standards of service to customers globally. They currently seek two Field Service Technicians to join their team in two key territories; one covering the West Midlands and one covering the Essex region.

In this exciting position you will provide expert testing and maintenance services to customers across the water treatment sector. Your role will be to use your Legionella testing experience and exceptional customer service skills to conduct tests on water samples taken from customer sites across your region. You will undertake all servicing as appropriate and complete the associated documentation/reports, as well as making appropriate recommendations for client improvements.

Services include (but are not limited to):

    • Legionella and TVC sampling
    • Water hygiene temperature monitoring
    • Shower clean and descales
    • Cold water storage tank inspections
    • Thermostatic mixer valve servicing
    • Cooling tower cleans / disinfections.

In order to apply for this role you will need:

  • A full UK drivers licence
  • Experience in Legionella control services
  • Willingness and ambition to learn new skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Knowledge of these services from a laboratory setting is highly desirable. These services include; Legionella species analysis, genotyping Legionella in order to quantify pathogenicity and conduct physical and chemical analysis of water samples.
