Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant
Location: ThurrockSalary: £85- £100 per dayContract Type: Full-Time, Temp to PermStart Date: Interviewing as soon as possible for now and to start after easter half term.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant. As a SEN TA, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored support for children with SEN, helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children with SEN in both group and one-to-one settings.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering personalised learning plans.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
- Provide emotional and behavioural support to help children engage with their learning.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support the child's development.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide feedback as needed.

- Willing to learn and develop skills in supporting children with SEN.
Desirable but not essential:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN.
- Knowledge of strategies and interventions to support children with additional needs.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning).
