Job Title: Warehouse Operative
Location: Witham
Pay Rate: £11.44 per hour
Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday
Job Overview:
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our client in Witham.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order Picking and Packing: Accurately pick and pack orders using a scanner to ensure correct order processing and tracking.
- Container Unloading: Unload containers, with loads averaging 15,000 units but potentially up to 27,000 units.
- Customer Interaction: Assist with customer inquiries when needed, maintaining a helpful and friendly approach.
- Computer Use: Operate basic computer functions for tasks such as inventory updates and order tracking.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Support in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Warehouse Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication abilities for interacting with team members and customers.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to carry out heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks.
- Adaptability: A flexible approach to duties as needed.
