Web Designer

Role: Web DesignerLocation: EssexSalary: £28,000 - £32,000 DOEWork Model: Hybrid (3 days WFH)

I'm currently working with a client who is looking for a Web Designer to join their team:

What You'll Do:

• Create visually engaging and user-friendly websites that enhance the user experience and meet client objectives.
• Work closely with developers and fellow designers to turn concepts into functional designs.
• Design layouts for various platforms, ensuring a seamless experience across desktops, tablets, and mobile devices.
• Keep up with the latest web design trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Conduct user research and usability testing, gathering feedback to improve designs.

What You Have:

• 2-4 years of experience in web design or a related field.
• Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD), Figma, or Sketch.
• Solid understanding of HTML and CSS, with the ability to implement basic code changes. Familiarity with JavaScript is a plus.
• Experience with UX/UI design principles, including wireframing, prototyping, and user testing.
• A compelling portfolio showcasing your best web design projects, illustrating your design process and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and collaborate effectively.
