Welder Fabricator - Up to 19ph - Witham - Increased Overtime Rates!!

A sub-contract engineering company based in Witham are looking for a Welder Fabricator to join their team.

They are looking for someone who can both MIG & TIG Weld on stainless steel and aluminium as well as operation of fabricating using press brakes, guillotines etc, Further training will be provided but previous use is essential.

The company predominantly work in the FMCG industries making platforms, machine guards, staircases etc.

Hours are 8am till 4.30pm Monday to Friday. Overtime is x1.5 your hourly rate. The company has a fantastic order book so you will be kept busy with overtime on offer. Hourly rate is up to 19ph for a fully skilled Welder Fabricator.

Welder Fabricator duties:-

• MIG & TIG Welding
• Welding Mild and Stainless steels
• Read basic drawings to calculate angles / cut lengths
• Read from CAD drawings
• Set and operate CNC Brake Press
• Ability to view a job, understand the customer requirements and create a design for works such as trolleys/cages/ frames etc

This role might involve travelling to clients sites from time to time using a company vehicle, therefore you will need a driving license for the role.

You are paid for travel from workshop to sites but the main part of the role is working in the workshop in Witham.
