This is an exciting opportunity to join an ever-growing team in Witney as a Sales Engineer. Working for a global company with a worldwide reputation. This forward thinking, innovative organisation requires a person to focus on the development and growth of sales across the UK and Ireland, maximising business from existing customers, increasing market coverage and new business development.
This job would suit someone who is willing to travel and stay away from home overnight primarily within the UK and Ireland and can commute to Witney, Oxfordshire 1-2 days a week after initial training. They should have a proven track record with B2B technical sales ability and good commercial understanding with a technical background and/or aptitude.
Sales Engineer duties to include, (but not limited to)
- Development of new prospects to ensure a strong pipeline, focusing on end user customers, but to collaborate where needed elsewhere.
- Develop a regional sales strategy plan covering multiple customer tiers.
- Recommend, plan and support marketing campaigns and follow up for all products.
- Scheduling/planning and prioritising sales trips
- Production of reports/presentations/pricing proposals
- Sales budgeting and forecasting
- Provide ongoing market feedback and details of trends and developments.
- Assist project engineers with installations, commissioning and troubleshooting as required.
