Sales Manager (Commercial Vehicles)Oxford£45,000 + commission and vehicleOverview:Our client is an innovative, entrepreneurial business supplying consultancy services into mid market light commercial vehicle operators across the UK. They are brand agnostic and able to provide their customers with tailored solutions across their commercial vehicle fleets that suit business needs and manage costs. As they continue to grow, they are now looking for a Sales Manager with commercial vehicle experience to help drive the sales function further forward. Key Responsibilities:

  • Create a dynamic target-focused environment and embed initiatives to drive sales performance.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure accurate quotations and sales presentations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies, enhance customer service and reduce business risk.
  • Scope new processes, procedures and systems and lead on their design, implementation, evaluation and continuous improvement.
  • Play a lead role in locating and negotiating vehicle supply and maintain accurate stock lists from suppliers whilst communicating new stock to field based sales teams.
  • Work closely with digital marketing team to prepare campaigns and encourage sales traffic.

Person Specification:

  • Possess previous experience in managing sales teams and have knowledge of the commercial vehicle product area.
  • Be comfortable working alongside internal colleagues in marketing, sales administration and senior management to promote a joined up culture to deliver growth.
  • An effective communicator, able to extract high levels of performance acknowledging that different styles of management may be required across a diverse team.
  • A previous track record achieving sales growth through own initiatives.
  • Able to examine the commercial vehicle markets to deliver consistent streams of stock to meet customer demand.
